The interior design of the Fruli café was inspired by the company itself and the philosophy of its founders, who approached us regarding the design. Fruli is a family business focused on the handmade production of syrups, interesting chocolates, cakes, and other dishes. All their products are handmade, made from fresh ingredients, without the use of any added substances, through the highest quality natural processes.

This very philosophy also inspired our approach. We aimed to create a raw space, devoid of unnecessary added decorations. A space that celebrates the chosen materials and their textures, presented in their original and pure form.

The main chosen materials were: concrete, wood, glass, and textiles. The concrete floors and walls left in their raw state provide a neutral retreating background that celebrates the designed interior focal points, such as: a living tree, a glass block wall, or step seating. Through these elements, our effort was to expand the street space into the interior of the café, thus creating a place where people feel comfortable and relaxed. A space that belongs to everyone and to no one.

The designed glass block wall not only ensures ample privacy but also allows natural light to flow into the restaurant's back area, creating a more pleasant working environment. The wooden elements warm up and cozy the entire space. To visually enlarge the café space, we placed large round mirrors above each table in the upper floor of the given loft area, complemented by pendant lighting.

Instead of unnecessary additional decorations, we filled the interior with greenery, which not only positively affects the psyche of visitors and staff but also contributes to air quality and supports our effort to expand the outdoor street space into the interior of the café.
