Architect David Wittassek responded to the client's wishes and designed the clinic differently than conventional facilities of this type in our country. The main intention was to create a distinctive, interesting, and not sterile practice.

The entire direction started to take shape during the realization of the solution for the original TREEDK clinic in a 1930s building, which was overseen by David Wittassek. The unusual practice of myTREEDK connects to its concept through its free and original approach. However, in the new rented location, there was an opportunity to be bolder, more avant-garde.
"When I arrived at the demolished space, I liked it. It was a key moment. I told myself, let’s keep it like this. Let’s make it an advantage. The main thing was to preserve the atmosphere. To make it acoustically functional, we attached a wooden grid with acoustically absorbent material to the ceiling – a patient in the dental chair feels much better when looking at natural materials rather than a white ceiling," says the author of the design.
The spatial solution arose from the needs of the client. The uniqueness lies in the fact that everything is arranged together. The reception, waiting room, kitchen, and restrooms connect to a larger hall space, where four dental units and further office facilities are located. The design is primarily developed so that the client feels pleasant and relaxed.
"I have been afraid to go for a dental check-up my whole life… even though I had healthy teeth, the fear of treatment still haunted me. When years ago Petr and Pavlína asked me to focus on 'their' concept of a dental clinic, I didn't have complete trust. In the end, I was very impressed. It relieved me of the fears of visiting the dentist, and based on client feedback, this happens to others as well." (David Wittassek)
This was facilitated not only by the unconventional layout but also by the use of materials such as exposed brick, wood, and metal. The friendly atmosphere was also enhanced by playing with light, neon, white color, and decorative paint with a roller. Additionally, the displayed bicycle, an element for relieving tension and improving mood, serves as a light motif.
