Seventeen-story apartment building is named after its author, the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza. The fifty-four-meter tower contains 40 apartments ranging in size from 94 to 210 square meters. The ground floor of the building consists of offices with a total area of 800 m². The total budget climbed to 10 million euros. Upon completion, Siza's tower became the tallest building in the city until it was surpassed in 2005 by the De Colonel complex (author: Hans Kollhoff) near the main train station.
