Every time I walk from Šilingrova Square to the Brno "City," I pass a small shop with luxury clothing. It has already changed its original owner, but the luxury goods remain. I have always regarded it as a window into the world of fashion, and I believe that is how it was designed. The absolutely unusual arrangement of the display window, where not everything was on display at once, caught my attention every time.
To tell the truth, I have never been inside. I only know the interior from glimpses through the window, which is precisely set into the wall of the original house. The large entrance doors were occasionally blocked by a light-colored dog, which indicated the boutique's foot traffic. What immediately strikes you is the significant use of wood in the interior and the precise execution of the details. What a wonderful symbiosis of quality fashion and architecture. The furnishings feel high-quality and welcoming, the whole shop seems to breathe comfort. Nothing is lacking, and nothing is excessive.
I can't explain it, but every time I pass by, I slow down and look into this living room, where ladies casually browse through catalogs and where time seems to slow down. I love that world.
