Administrative building ABW

The administrative building is designed within the premises of the concrete element manufacturing plant ABW (Austria Beton Werk). The object is centrally located between production and the showroom, serving as a meeting point for management, employees, customers, and external workers. The concept of the object is based on three main principles – a green atrium open to every room in the building, transparency, and clarity of the layout in relation to the customer-employee interaction. The third supporting principle of the design is strict adherence to ecological standards of passive construction during the design and construction of the building, where the final result of the energy balance is commendable at 13 kWh/m² per year.
