Continuation of the development of residential buildings in the northern part of Banovce nad Bebravou.
A group of residential buildings is situated in a typical context of a panel residential area.
The location is at the interface of the sparsely built structure of residential buildings and agricultural land. The currently prevailing trend of transforming arable land in the immediate vicinity of settlements into an urban structure is a logical step in this context, as the city's development is needed in its close proximity and not within a driving distance. The placement of the building is designed to allow further development along Husitská Street while also clearly defining the boundary between the city and the countryside for the future.
In the first phase, the project underwent several transformations from the original design to the final state. The layouts originally stemmed from the standard for starter rental apartments but were rethought and adjusted during the design process according to the current demand for apartments with a greater number of rooms. Considering cost optimization, parking is arranged on the ground along the access road and partly between the buildings and under the recessed parts of the houses. In addition to parking, the space between the buildings is utilized as a forecourt, into which the entrances of the individual structures are oriented.
The goal of the design is to create simple, efficient, and accessible architecture that, through its unobtrusive expression, will set a precedent for further development in its vicinity.
Even despite its ordinariness, the building is not deprived of details. These can be seen, for example, in the form of a colorful accent on the externally recessed rooftop terrace or in the material contrast of the window frames, balconies, and balcony slabs.
In the first phase of construction (completed in the first half of 2023), a total of 24 residential units were finished. The investor's perspective is to complete all five residential buildings, which together will create 120 apartments.
