Biography
Arieh Sharon was an Israeli architect who studied at the German Technical University in Brno in 1918 and emigrated to Palestine in 1920, where he worked as a farmer in a kibbutz from 1921 to 1926. In 1926, he traveled to Germany, where he began studying at the Bauhaus under Walter Gropius and Josef Albers. In 1931, he returned to Palestine, where he began designing family houses in the spirit of the International style and also the first hospital in 1937. During the Palestinian war of 1948, he addressed immigration issues for the government. In 1954, he revived his private design office, participating in the construction of government and public buildings in Israel.
