Biography
1957-62 - studied architecture at the University of Missouri, the University of New Mexico, and Columbia University, where he earned a bachelor's degree. He received a travel scholarship from Columbia University, which allowed him to travel to Europe.
since 1967 - led his own architectural office in Albuquerque (later in Los Angeles, Indiana, and Taiwan).
since 1982 - taught at Harvard and UCLA.
1985 - received the Rome Prize, which allowed him to stay at the American Academy in Rome.
1987 - honorary member of the American AIA.
2006 - received the AIA Gold Medal.
2007 - received a lifetime achievement award from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
His son, Hadrian Predock, has his own office, which was showcased at the 9th Architecture Biennale in Venice.
