Biography
Anna Ramos is a Spanish architect and since 2016, the director of the Mies van der Rohe Foundation in Barcelona. Her father is Fernando Ramos Galino (*1949), who was one of the three initiators of the restoration of Mies's pavilion in Barcelona.
Anna Ramos studied architecture at ETSAB-UPS in Barcelona and TU Delft. She holds a PhD in Architectural Engineering, Restoration and Renovation from ETSAB-UPS. She has worked as an associate professor at ETSAB-UPC. From 2000 to 2016, she ran her own studio in Barcelona. From 2014 to 2016, she served as vice-dean at ETSAB-UPC and from 2005 to 2008, she was president of the Association of Young Architects of Catalonia (AJAC).
