Alexander Janowsky studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna, where he obtained his degree in 2003 under Prof. Helmut Richter. He received several awards for his work on the Fibonacci spiral structure. From 1997 to 2003, he worked at the Vienna studio of Sepp Müller. From 2003 to 2005, he worked at the Vienna studio of Prof. Helmut Richter. From 2005 to 2006, he worked at the American studio of Neil M. Denari Architects (LA, NY). From 2006 to 2007, he worked at the Vienna branch of Dietrich | Untertrifaller Architects. From 2007 to 2009, he worked at the London studio of Zaha Hadid Architects. Since 2009, he has completed his licensing exams and runs his own office, ALEXANDER JANOWSKY ARCHITECTURE, with branches in Vienna and London.
