Atelier DAU (Atelier for Design and Urbanism) is
a multi-disciplinary practice that designs both private residences and urban interventions. Our built typologies incorporate biophilic elements to enhance people’s associations with their immediate natural surroundings.
Principal and founder, Emma Rees-Raaijmakers, established Atelier DAU (previously Arque) to further explore a range of artistic collaborations incorporating residential design, product design and placemaking. Throughout her career she has worked with numerous prestigious design practices in Sydney, Hong Kong and The Netherlands. These experiences continue to play an important role in her approach to all projects.
